It all started over 224 years ago when Joseph Montgolfier proclaimed to his brother Etienne, “Procure me some taffeta and rope and I will show you something that will astonish the world!”
Our Story
In 2014, over a pint of Sussex Ale, Brian Smith and James Palmer, a decade or two separated by age, but not much else, joined together in their passion for hot-air ballooning, and hatched a cunning plan.
